I'm planning on using a wye turnaround on my layouts mainline. Would anyone have a wiring schematic for doing this?

I'll be using FT's wyes and DCC.

Thanks,

With DCC, the use of a reversing detector and automatic polarity control makes a wye easy. Isolate one leg of the wye just before the frog and let the detector keep all the polarity issues in check. Choosing the leg to isolate and exactly the wiring will depend on your track diagram and how you will operate the 'through' routes.

I assume then the reverser unit I buy will have some sort of wiring diagram?

The reverser will have a 'generic' wiring diagram showing input from the DCC bus and outputs to the two rails on the reversing section. I've drawn a colored wye wiring diagram to give some idea of how it works. You'll have to decide what leg needs the actual isolation - depending on your track connections to the wye.

Thanks for the diagram Ed. That's just what I needed. :D
