Moving ahead, I have built a #6 turnout and am gluing it to the laser cut "Quicksticks", as they will be called, with 5 minute epoxy. Using some weights to hold it in place untill the epoxy cures (yes,those are the Point Form prototypes!). I prefer 5 minute epoxy, works fast and dries solid.

When complete, I will paint the entire turnout and it will be ready to install!

I'll post a picture of the completed turnout when, well, complete...

The painting complete, and a light weathering, and the finished turnout is ready to use! A few shots....

File comment: All painted and ready to install! You have to look hard to spot the PC board ties. This is why I prefer to paint the entire completed turnout, and not try to match a tie stain to a paint color, this is much simpler, and will yield excellent results.
