Looking for someone who has used the above mentioned fixture. I have built my first turnout and it went well however I do have a concern. After I cut the gaps around the frog I noticed the point rails at the frog end ae only soldered to one printed circuit board tie. When I move the points the rail does not appear to flex very much. I am afraid the solder joint will weaken afer a time. Should I add another printed circuit board tie?
Thanks
Al

why not? I add a few extra ties. one at each end of the turnout, the point end, the branch, and the straight section. On some I add a few to the frog area with closer spacing (aka US practices) You could make the whole turnout pc board but then it would be difficult making them look like wood.
