Sub roadbed for the Fast Tracks System? Is there a preference out there? I have always used cork in the past, but I am looking into other options. This is my first project in the hand laying track world. My concern is how well do the ties glued to cork hold up?

I have glued Fast Tracks turnouts, etc. to cork roadbed and it works quite well but I prefer to spike the track in place so that it can be easily moved before ballasting. Once ballasted and set with carpenter's glue everything is nice and solid.

Thanks for your input, I see where spiking would be a benefit.
