 Post subject: Installing Switch Points

Which side of the switch point goes next to the stock rails on the template: the one I filed down or the intack side? It seems to fit better if the filed side is next to the stock rail. Thanks!

It would almost be a silly question but, if your using the point jig and filed it flat as per the instructions and then removed the rail base on the stock rail, it should fit quite snugly.
