curved turnout jig request.

There is a crucial piece(s) missing in the Kato n-scale track system... curved turnouts.

Seems I am always using this sort of track in compact layout situations (i.e. spaghetti spun on a fork). Trying to squeeze in straight turnouts on this sort of layout looks bad, can lead to s-curve problems, and quickly gobbles up areas that would be better served with longer straight sidings.

Stock Fast Tracks jigs can make up for many of the missing parts in the Kato system - crossings, y's, 3 way, slips. But the curved turnout radiuses are much larger then the Kato radiuses. The 12/9 #6 is about the only one that comes close and it doesn't match any of the Kato radiuses directly.

So just a suggestion but a few jigs that match the Kato track radii would be helpful.

P.S. I've already done the logical thing and emailed Kato, every year for several years... Haven't seen anything yet. ;-)

Hi,

Do you know what the radii sizes of the Kato curved turnouts are? Might be able to make up something.
