I own a spray booth that has a fan to exhaust the fumes out of the booth.

I am curious, can one use a good filter at the end of the booth's ducting (furthest away from the booth) so that I need not exhaust out through a basement window? If not, are there paints that are non-toxic, non-flammable that can be used in one's basement?

Hi Sambear
You could try the Railroad Acrylics from Floquil, (Polly S) they claim to be non toxic. Here is a link to the site
http://www.testors.com/category/133504/Floquil
Badger Air Brush Co. also do a range of acrylics called Modelflex
All of the above are also in the Walthers Catalog and have a good range of Railroad colours
But as with all paints there is still a fume factor (smell) that can make it uncomfortable in a closed area so it is always better to exhaust the booth to an outside area.
Cheers
Ian
