What code best represents main line rail in modern day railroading and witch best represents sidings thanks all |

Hi timndawn, Rail size will depend on what scale you're modeling. If it's HO then code 83 would be a typical mainline size and it could even be code 100. Branchlines and/or sidings would be code 70 or code 55. If you're an N-scaler then code 55 for mainline and code 40 for sidings. Hopefully, another forum member can provide some guidance for other scales. |
