I have several track crossings to build on my switching layout, a 60 or45 deg, 30or 18 deg depending on where I place my switches to make it work the best. In refering to the Fast tracks templates, does one cut the bottom web on the rail and bend the rail to the specific angle or do you use a specific frog point? I have and use the #4 switch building plate, the point forming jig for #4 & #6 and the frog helper plate for #'s 4,5 &6. Also when using two different colored pensils to simulate wiring I have two spots that are totally isolated and if I put one or the other polarity in it will cause a short. How do you wire the crossings properly as I am doing something wrong.
Thank you in advance for any assistance
Ron
