I got my #5 double crossover kit and have been making great turnouts and crossovers. I thought that I would also be able to make the one #5 wye that I need with that kit but I don't think I can :?

So I have 2 questions.

1- Can I make a #5 wye using my double crossover jig?

2- If not, can someone make me one. I have all the supplies to include tracks and twist ties.

No you can't make a #5 Wye with the Xover jig.
You would think that after making turnouts and Xovers with your jig, that you could make a drawing of a #5 Wye and hand lay the turnout. All you need is an NMRA gauge, three point gauge, small piece of wood, spray adhesive, drawing, and pins.
When you get the drawing done... spray the back of the drawing with glue and place on a short board. Then take your cut PCB's and place them on a paper tablet and spray with a can of glue. Transfer them to your drawing and put some weight on the to set the PCB's. Now you're ready to lay and solder your rails on.
I've attached a few drawing to show you how you align the point rail off the frog by extending a separate curved rail on top of the frog rail using pins. These pictures are three from a series of 15 pictures that shows how I made a curved dual gauge turnout.

I guess I'm a little slower than most but yes you can make a #5 wye with a #5 double cross over jig without the use of wood, pins, paint and adhesive. Not perfect but it works. I'll post pics later. 8)
