After glueing down the tie strips to the roadbed, do you remove the wooden web that runs across the empty area in order for the PC tie strips lie even with the wooden tie strips? I searched the descriptions on the use of the tie strips and it said to glue or spike down the finished curved track on top of the Quicksticks Tie Strips but the web prevents the trackwork from laying flat. I guess common sense says to remove the web.

Hi Wally,

Your assumption is absolutely correct. The web in the gap where the PC board ties will fit must be removed after the glue has set.
