If I purchased the assembly kit for a #8 HO crossover, would the point form tool with also work with the assembly fixture for standard # 8 turnouts. :?: I know the tool for the x-over has extra slots for the x-over. I am looking at the least expensive way to build my tool/assembly collection.

Not that your busy enough, but hints for future userguide or video!

How to build standard switches using a cross-over jig.

I know its basiclly the same, but would be nice to have someone who has done it before show the minor steps which would be different from using a standard turnout jig. With all the extra slots and lengths it would be good to maybe have just a diagram to show what to use, it that would be simpler to do.
