 Post subject: Rail length in Jigs

With the ME rail cut to 18" length, are there any of the HO jigs where that length of rail would be to short? For most standard #8 or #10 turn-outs, how much scrap do you have with the 18" lengths of rail?

If you go to the section of the website where all the fixtures are listed, it gives the dimensions once you click on the particular jig.
