Knowing that commercial curved turnouts have tighter radii than stated, are you willing to accept a very small section of radius that is smaller than your accepted minimum radius to accommodate a curved turnout?
Yes, a very short piece of tight radius is acceptable. 67%  67%  [ 10 ]
No, I would never fudge on my minimum radius. 27%  27%  [ 4 ]
Whats a minimum radius? As long as it works I don't care! 7%  7%  [ 1 ]

As I noted in my previous post (Bending The Truth. The Great Curved Turnout Conspiracy), I am planning on adding a complete line of curved turnout assembly fixtures to my line of products and have been doing quite a bit of research before I actually start the design work.

This research has uncovered a number of surprising factors that will require some degree of compromise in the turnout design. To that end it would be very useful to get some feedback from you, which will help me decide the best way to proceed. Hence this little survey.

Thanks for participating!
