Post subject:  Correct temperature of soldering tip?

I have a Weller soldering station that has several conical tip temperatures available.
I have a choice of 600, 700, or 800 Degrees F. Which would the more suitable for turnout construction?
I normally use 700 for rosin core electronic work but am not too familiar with the acid flux.
