Hello to all and happy holiday weekend to everyone in Canada and the US.

I have a HO scale #10 curved turnout (30R/27R) fixture and am wondering what turnout sized TieBreaker tool to use with this fixture. Do the PCB ties needed for this curved turnout fixture correspond to those needed for a normal #10 turnout or would a #12 (TieBreaker tool) be a closer match? Sorry, I haven't taken the time to compare number and lengths of PCB ties needed in curved vs normal turnout construction.

Thanks for any advice/help you can provide.

Curt Goff

Hello Curt,

Here's an excerpt from Fast Tracks FAQ's:

Can I use the TieBreaker for curved turnouts that have the same frog angle as a regular turnout?
Yes, curved turnouts that have the same frog angle as a regular turnout are designed with the PC board ties in the same location and are the same length.
