We have added our new "TwistTies' flexible laser cut wood tie strips for turnouts and wyes to our product catalogue.

This innovative new product offers the model craftsman a new way of building curved or straight turnouts with ease using real wood ties, spikes & rail.

NMRA compatible TwistTies are cut as a single-piece assembly of pre-spaced, pre-drilled wood ties that can be curved to fit any desired radius while maintaining the turnout size. They include pre-drilled spike holes that ensure accurate gauging and geometry, taking the guesswork out of building curved or straight turnouts and making turnout construction faster and easier than traditional hand laying methods. Etched guidelines can be used to verify rail positioning.

TwistTies are cut from very pliable and stainable Baltic birch plywood custom made in Finland specifically for Fast Tracks. The wood grain runs perpendicular to the rails and the ties will match all popular commercially available wood ties and flextrack.

Left hand and right hand TwistTies turnouts are available in HO, HOn3, HOn30, Sn2, Sn3, On30 scales in turnout sizes #4 through #12, and will work with code 70, 83 and 100 rail.

Of course, you will always get better and faster results with less effort using our Assembly Fixtures. However if you only need to build a small number of turnouts, curved turnouts of any radius, or if you prefer all wood tie construction, then TwistTies may be a better option for you.
