We will of course be attending this years National Train Show in in Hartford, Connecticut on July 10-12, 2009. Tim plans on displaying the Bronx Terminal in all of its operational glory (albeit, not yet finished). It should be a real treat, so be sure to stop by and have a look!

We are also planning on releasing a brand new line of money saving products that we think many modelers will find quite useful. We are not ready to reveal any details just yet, but here is a picture of the main product:

Post your guess here as to what this new product is and win a $100 Gift Certificate!

We will reveal all at the National Train Show in Hartford. Visit us at booths 127-129.

Its a variable ange thing-a-ma-jig, base on the curved slot. What else could it be.

What is your guess, Maybe Ron and Tim could give one to the closest guesser? It could be a fun month till we all know for sure.

Tell you what. Lets make it a bit more interesting. We will offer a $100 gift certificate that can be used to purchase anything from the Fast Tracks website to the first person who guesses what this is. If no one guesses correctly by the start of the National Train Show, we will do a random draw for the gift certificate from all of the names of the people who post a guess here.

So let the guessing begin!

can you give us a hint, what is the overall size of the drawing above, that may help!

I could use the 100 bucks.

No hints necessary! It's obviously a linkage component for switch machines as seen on the Bronxs Terminal photos.

We will not reveal what it really is until the show in Hartford, but the first post with the correct answer here will win.

No hints. Don't want to make it too easy.

Looks like a set of tie and tie-plate alignment jigs. Also providing geometry for layout and setup of custom configured trackwork.

Perhaps a way to mount RC servos to use them as switch machines?

Looks like alignment, drilling and mounting templates for different types of switch machines, for above and below layout mounting.

its a pile of left over scraps!

no really, its a universal, multi-purpose, switch machine alignment/mounting jig for the most popular above and below switch machines. it also includes advanced mounting solutions for various micro-switches inconjuntion with the switch machines.

this invention will save hundreds of hours making switch machine installation idiot proof.

great job Fast Tracks. whats the cost?

Too late.. my first guess was taken.. So now I will have to come up with something really clever in case the obvious is not correct..

OK.. here is my "out there" guess..

A series of cutouts that can be assembled together to build an interlocking plant.

My guess is that's some sort of turnout linkage. Either manual or used with a powered device.
